Stan Lee Teases Fan Favorite Marvel Character Coming To INFINITY WAR and I've Made a Top 10 List

Marvel has done a pretty good job at being secretive about Avengers: Infinity War. We know a lot of characters will be involved, but as for new characters being introduced into the MCU, we know very little. This has many people thinking there may not be any new major comic characters included beyond what we already know. Well, Stan Lee has recently assured us there will be some fan favorites being introduced... we just don't know which ones.

At a recent Q&A in Des Moines, Iowa (via Gamezone), he said that some "fan favorites" would be introduced in the upcoming events of the Avengers movie. Apparently when he started talking, his publicist stepped in and stopped him from saying anything else on the matter, which leaves us to speculate. So here's my Top 10 possible (and maybe not so possible) new characters introduced into the MCU in Infinity War.

1. Pip the Troll - Ok, so we do know that Peter Dinklage is going to be in the film, but have no clue as to what role he will be playing. Now, there is an iconic space character named Pip the Troll who actually plays a role in the comic version of Infinity War, but it almost seems too on the nose. I mean, getting an actual little person to play the Troll seems like good casting, but also, I don't know, offensive? I mean, it shouldn't be, but whatever. Honestly, Pip is a hilarious character who Dinklage could play wonderfully. So here's hoping.
2. Starfox - No, not the SNES Starfox. The Marvel one. There is a Marvel character in the comics who is actually the brother of Thanos called Starfox. He's a galactic ladies man who has the ability to get any girl he wants. While there are definite ties to Thanos, I wonder if they'll go the route of introducing Starfox. He's not who I would call a fan favorite.
3. Doctor Doom - Yeah, I know, Doom is Fox. But hear me out. Maybe they made a deal. Maybe we don't know about the deal yet. Fox has had some luck with their X-men movies, and even Deadpool, but Fantastic Four has yet to be of any worth to Fox. They should let it go. And if they do, suddenly we have a brand new chapter for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A new direction to go. Doom plays a very important role in the comic, so having him arrive now would be fantastic. No pun intended.
4. MODOK - So, beside the rumor that Peter Dinklage is Pip, there exists the rumor he may be playing MODOK or Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing. He's a villain who many claim is a fan favorite. He is a giant head with itty bitty arms and legs and a hover chair. While the character is interesting, and the writer of Infinity War has expressed a desire to use him, I just have a hard time believing they'll use him when they already have Thanos and his entire team of baddies to introduce.
5. Nova - We keep pushing back Nova, saying maybe he'll be in this next one. Maybe the next one. But I mean come on. Huge Battle in Space? Fan Favorite? Huge rival of Thanos? Having Nova appear in the film just makes sense. People want it, and what better time?
6. Namor  - If he does exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, now is the time to do something about it. I mean the world is in peril. The whole world. Including Atlantis. Plus having him appear in this movie would make a lot more sense than having him appear in a solo movie. We're already getting an Aquaman movie. Two water hero solo movies seem a bit much.
7. Quasar - This goes back to Galactic Defender, who we have yet to see in the films. He is way powerful, so why not bring him into the film. Or she. Quasar has been played by multiple people in the comics, so it could equally be done in many ways in the film.
8. She-Hulk - While I almost believe she would work better in a Defenders series, I think having She-Hulk in the film would be a step towards humanizing Bruce Banner more. First, we got to bring him back to help fight, and second we got to give us a new Hulk just in case Banner is done for. A spunky law hulk. 
9. Silver Surfer - This goes back to wishful thinking for sure. But if they did strike a deal, the Silver Surfer would be an awesome character to bring in. Whoever they introduce, I have a feeling it will be someone involved in space.
10. Abigail Brand - The head of SWORD. A group like S.H.I.E.L.D., but more space based. She's got green hair and is part human, part alien. I keep thinking to myself, a space battle needs more space reps. So why not Abigail Brand?

There are a few ideas of characters that I think might be considered to be brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Infinity War. My own personal favorite character that I know will be a while before they introduce is Bug. One of the Micronauts that Marvel has rights to. He's just fun. Wishful thinking, I know, but James Gunn did have Bug in some of his drafts for GOTG so maybe someday...
