Stan Lee's Daughter Takes Sony's Side in Spider-Man Dispute and Says Marvel and Disney Execs Never Showed Lee Respect or Decency

As Marvel fans rally against Sony Pictures over not working with Disney and Marvel to continue to share Spider-Man, Stan Lee’s daughter JC Lee has taken Sony’s side and made some surprising and harsh comments against Disney and Marvel regarding how they treated her father.

While talking with TMZ, Lee explained, "Marvel and Disney seeking total control of my father's creations must be checked and balanced by others who, while still seeking to profit, have genuine respect for Stan Lee and his legacy."

She then went on say that Marvel and Disney never showed Stan Lee or his legacy any respect of decency:

“When my father died, no one from Marvel or Disney reached out to me. From day one, they have commoditized my father’s work and never shown him or his legacy any respect or decency.

"In the end, no one could have treated my father worse than Marvel and Disney's executives."

Whoa! I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen the exact opposite of what she is talking about. It seems like everyone at Marvel who worked with Lee had nothing but great things to say about him. We’ve also seen several interviews of Lee talking about how much he enjoyed working with everyone at Marvel Studios.

She also said:

"Whether it's Sony or someone else's, the continued evolution of Stan's characters and his legacy deserves multiple points of view."

What do you think about what JC Lee had to say her about Marvel and Disney and how they treated her dad?
