Stanley Tucci's MASTERPLAN Teaser Promises a Wild Mona Lisa Heist Gone Off the Rails

Prime Video and Gaumont have unveiled the first teaser trailer for Masterplan, a new French-Italian art heist comedy that pairs Stanley Tucci with Victor Belmondo and Simona Tabasco for an outrageous mission centered on the Mona Lisa.
The film skips theaters and heads straight to Prime Video this October, and after watching this first footage, streaming feels like the perfect home for this stylish caper.
The story follows Roger, a legendary master thief played by Tucci, who sets out to pull off what might be the most impossible robbery ever conceived: stealing Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa from the Louvre in Paris.
Of course, Roger doesn't plan on doing it alone. He recruits Chiara (Tabasco), a brilliant Italian cybercrime expert, and Jay (Belmondo), a confident French explosives specialist, to help carry out the impossible mission.
There's just one little detail he forgets to mention until after they've signed on. They're actually brother and sister... and he's their father.
That revelation turns an already dangerous operation into a chaotic family reunion nobody wanted.
The teaser doesn't reveal much about how the crew plans to outsmart one of the most heavily protected museums in the world, but that's part of the fun.

The screenplay was written by Vincent and David Wolstencroft, and the film was produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Gaumont.
Masterplan premieres exclusively on Prime Video on October 16th, 2026. Pulling off the theft of the century is one thing. Surviving a family reunion while doing it might end up being the bigger challenge.
