STAR TREK Actor Cast in VISION QUEST Series as Character Last Seen in the MCU in AVENGERS: ENDGAME
Marvel’s Vision Quest series is headed our way next year, and casting is underway ahead of the show’s shooting schedule. The series is being showrun by Star Trek: Picard writer/producer Terry Matalas, who won’t be the only Trek alum on set.
The studio revealed that Orla Brady, who plays the dual role of housekeeper Laris and supervisor Tallinn in Picard, has now been confirmed to be included in Vision Quest’s cast.
Collider reports that at Star Trek Las Vegas this month, Matalas confirmed that Brady would be portraying the artificial intelligence character FRIDAY in Vision Quest.
Brady joins a number of other actors playing AIso in the upcoming series, including James Spader, making his return after 11 years as Ultron; T’Nia Miller, who will debut as Jocasta; and Emily Hampshire, who takes on the role of EDITH, first seen in 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home. FRIDAY, Tony Stark’s replacement for JARVIS, was voiced by Kerry Condon between Avengers: Age of Ultron and Endgame, but we haven’t heard from the character since.
It’s too bad that Condon couldn’t return to the role for whatever reason, but Brady is a great choice for the role. Stay tuned for updates on Vision Quest, which is currently in production, and it set to hit Disney+ sometime next year.
