STAR TREK: DISCOVERY - Fantastic Video Breaks Down The STAR TREK Timeline and Two New Clips

With Star Trek: Discovery premiering later this month, I've got a few new things to share with you to in regards to it. The first is a fantastic video from The Templin Institute, which is a YouTube channel dedicated to discussing "nations, organizations, and factions from alternate worlds."

Their latest video offers us a run down of the Star Trek timeline and what is going on during the point of time that Discovery takes place. It actually pretty fascinating and it's you're a fan of the Star Trek franchise, you'll probably dig it. 

I also included a couple of clips that have surfaced for the series. The first clip focuses on Commander Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) who finds herself face to face with a Klingon that wants to engage in combat. The second clip shows us a scene in which Brunham and Captain Philippa Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh) are walking and talking on a desert planet. If gives us some interesting insight into the very different personalities of these characters.

The latest reboot of "Star Trek" launches this month on CBS All Access. "Star Trek: Discovery" features new characters, new missions and a new ship. Actress Sonequa Martin-Green, who played Sasha on AMC's "The Walking Dead," stars as first officer Michael Burnham.
