STAR TREK: DISCOVERY Featurette Focuses on Captain Pike and New Character Posters
If you’re excited about the return of Star Trek: Discovery, we’ve got a new featurette for Season 2 that focuses on Captain Christopher Pike, who will be played by Anson Mount.
I actually like that this series will dive into the history of Captain Pike so that the fans can get to know him better. The new promo video offers some insight into what we can expect to see from the character in the series.

After answering a distress signal from the U.S.S. Enterprise, season two of Star Trek: Discoveryfinds the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery joining forces with Captain Christopher Pike on a new mission to investigate seven mysterious red signals and the appearance of an unknown being called the Red Angel. While the crew must work together to unravel their meaning and origin, Michael Burnham is forced to face her past with the return of her estranged brother, Spock.
Star Trek: Discovery returns to CBS All Access January 17th.
