STAR TREK: PICARD Gets a New Premiere Date and Poster

Patrick Stewart recently shared a new poster for his upcoming second season of Star Trek: Picard, and he also announced a premiere date! The show is now set to debut on March 3rd, instead of in February. Regardless of the date change, we don’t really have to wait much longer, and it’s gonna be great to watch Picard’s story continue!

This season sees the return of Q (John de Lancie), who is also featured on the poster, and in the story, he ends up creating an evil alternate reality for Picard, Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan), and the rest of the team. This leads them on a time travel journey where they go back in time to fix things and this leads him to reunite with the Borg Queen, who is being played by Annie Wersching.

"When talking about coming back to play Q, de Lancie said, “Well, I play a jerk, so it's really easy to approach that yet again. It's not difficult. It was nice to do. It was not difficult to bring it up again. We all play pretty close to who we are… at least I am. The material had a lot of the same vibes about it… The intentions are still the same. I'm still Picard's main squeeze. And I'm pushing."

Star Trek: Picard Season also stars Alison Pill, Isa Briones, Evan Evagora, Michelle Hurd, Santiago Cabrera, Orla Brady, John de Lancie, and Brent Spiner.
