STAR TREK: PICARD Season 3 "The Final Mission" Sneak Peak Hosted By Will Wheaton

While we wait for Star Trek: Picard Season 3 to premiere, Paramount+ has released a sneak peek promo for the series titled “The Final Mission” and it’s hosted by Star Trek: The Next Generation alum, Wil Wheaton. So, it looks like he gets to be a part of this in some way!

In the video, Wheaton is in The Ready Room and takes fans on a deep dive with the cast and creative team as they boldly go on one last adventure together. He even sits down with Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard) and Gates McFadden (Dr. Beverley Crusher) to discuss what we can expect from the new season, which is going to give the Star Trek: The Next Generation cast an epic sendoff.

In the series, Jean-Luc Picard once again reunites with Will Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis), who appeared in the first season of Picard, and it also featured Data (Brent Spiner). But, now he’ll be joined by LeVar Burton as Geordi La Forg, Michael Dorn as Worf, Michelle Hurd as Raffi Musiker, Beverly Crusher, and Jeri Ryan as Commander Seven of Nine.

The cast also includes Mica Burton (Critical Role, Vampire: The Masquerade: L.A. by Night) as Geordi's youngest daughter, Ensign Alandra La Forge, who works with her dad. Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut (Cruel Summer) plays Ensign Sidney La Forge, Geordi La Forge's eldest daughter and helmsman of the U.S.S. Titan.

Amanda Plummer, daughter of past Trek villain Christopher Plummer, is playing the main villain Vadic, Captain of the Shrike starship, and she’s on a mission to take Picard out. She looks like quite the sinister villain, who is going to be bringing all-consuming darkness to the story.

The stakes have never been higher as Star Trek: Picard boldly goes into its third and final season. Star Trek: Picard will premiere on Thursday, February 16th, exclusively in the U.S. on Paramount+.
