STAR TREK: PRODIGY Gets a Cool New Trailer, Poster, and Premiere Date!
Paramount+ has released a cool new trailer for its upcoming animated series Star Trek: Prodigy. They also shared a poster and announced that the series is set to premiere on October 28th! I know that the series is targeting a kid audience, it looks like a great show that I think the adult fans would enjoy as well. I’m totally digging what I’m seeing in this footage!
The series follows “a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search for a better future. These six young outcasts know nothing about the ship they have commandeered – a first in the history of the Star Trek franchise – but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.”
The voice cast members include Kate Mulgrew as Hologram Janeway, Brett Gray as Dal, Ella Purnell as Gwyn, Angus Imrie as Zero, Rylee Alazraqui as Rok-Tahk, Dee Bradley Baker as Murf, and Jason Mantzoukas as Jankom Pog.
The series was developed by Kevin and Dan Hageman (Trollhunters and Ninjago), with Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Katie Krentz, Rod Roddenberry, and Trevor Roth on board as executive producers.
