STAR TREK's Brent Spiner Has a Feud with LeVar Burton in Hilarious Short Film BRENTWOOD
I’ve got a great short film for you to watch that fans of Star Trek: The Next Generation are sure to enjoy. It stars Brent Spiner and the story focuses on his ongoing feud with the great LeVar Burton.
After the two worked on The Next Generation together, Spiner ended up getting stuck in a career that never changes, while Burton went on to do great and better things. Because of Burton’s success, Spiner feels he needs to continually try to outdo Burton at every turn.
The story comes to a head when Spiner begrudgingly accepts to host an event, but then he ends up being replaced by Burton who also saves Spiner’s life on the same night. It’s at this point that Spiner looks to make peace with his friend and change his ways.
BRENTWOOD is the story of Brent Spiner’s reluctant re-entry into Hollywood as he tries to one up LeVar Burton in their post-Star Trek world of immortalized stardom. Although he can be a bit of a dick, Brent declares through his songs that he’s going to change his ways.
