STAR TREK Takes Over SDCC With 60th Anniversary Celebration and STRANGE NEW WORLDS Season 4 Panel
Star Trek is making a huge return to San Diego Comic-Con this year, and Paramount+ and CBS Studios are packing the schedule with enough panels, screenings, collectibles, and fan experiences to keep Trekkies busy all weekend long.
Whether you're excited to see what's next for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, celebrate six decades of the franchise, or just want to get your hands on some exclusive merchandise, this year's SDCC is shaping up to be one of the biggest Star Trek events Comic-Con has hosted in years.
One of the biggest attractions will be the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Hall H panel on Friday, July 25, at 12:30 p.m. PT. The panel will celebrate the show's fourth season and bring together an impressive lineup of cast and creatives.
Fans attending can expect to see Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, and Paul Wesley, along with executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Henry Alonso Myers, and Alex Kurtzman.
The celebration won't stop there. Immediately following the Strange New Worlds panel, Hall H will host a special event honoring the 60th anniversary of Star Trek. The anniversary panel will feature talent from across the franchise, kicking off with a special introduction from Eugene "Rod" Roddenberry.
The guest lineup includes Michael Dorn, Robert Picardo, Connor Trinneer, Cirroc Lofton, Doug Jones, Michelle Hurd, Jerry O'Connell, Christina Chong, Karim Diané, and the legendary George Takei.
Even Comic-Con badges are getting the Star Trek treatment this year. Strange New Worlds will be featured on exclusive physical SDCC badges showcasing the U.S.S. Enterprise soaring above the San Diego Convention Center.
The artwork will also appear in the Official SDCC Digital Souvenir Book and on a limited edition T-shirt available exclusively at the Official Comic-Con Merch Shop inside the Marriott.
Collectors will also have something to look forward to. On Wednesday, July 23, fans can attend the Star Trek: The Collector Frontier panel in Room 5AB from 11:00 a.m. to noon PT.
Representatives from the Paramount product and experiences team will be joined by the LEGO Group and Magic: The Gathering to talk about the latest Star Trek-inspired collectibles and collaborations.
Fans will also get the chance to meet some of the creators behind the products, and there will be prizes handed out during the panel.
For fans eager to jump into the new season early, Paramount+ is also hosting a special screening of the first two episodes of Strange New Worlds Season 4.
Since the season premieres on July 23, attendees will get an exclusive advance screening of Episode 2 before it arrives on Paramount+. The event takes place at San Diego's Balboa Theater on July 24. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. PT, with the screening beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Admission is free, but reservations are required, with tickets being distributed on a first come, first served basis. Even better, you won't need a Comic-Con badge to attend. Fans who make it in can also expect surprise giveaways while supplies last.
The convention floor will have plenty to explore as well. The Paramount+ booth (#3529) will feature arcade-style games based on the streamer's biggest series, including a Strange New Worlds Bridge Command Memory Game that should be a fun stop between panels.
Outside the convention center, the Paramount+ Lodge at Happy Does on Fifth Avenue will be transformed into a Port Galley-inspired experience. One of the biggest attractions will be the original U.S.S. Enterprise model on display courtesy of the Roddenberry Estate. The lodge will be open from July 22 through July 26.
The Marriott Marquis on West Harbor Drive will also host the Star Trek: Boldly Built activation from July 23 through July 26. The experience combines Star Trek-inspired creations from the LEGO Group and Magic: The Gathering into an interactive photo opportunity that looks like it'll be a fun stop for fans and collectors alike.
The celebration continues at The Sinclair on G Street from July 24 through July 26 with the Star Trek Fleet Command: 60 Years of Star Trek archives experience.
Built around the hit mobile game Star Trek Fleet Command, the attraction will feature official archive pieces, a Holodeck VR experience, themed photo opportunities, exclusive swag, claw machines loaded with Star Trek prizes, and a souvenir photo station.
The weekend will also include a special invite-only gathering on Friday evening for members of the Star Trek Fleet Command community.
Between the Hall H presentations, the anniversary celebration, early screenings, collectibles, immersive experiences, and exclusive merchandise, Star Trek is making sure Comic-Con attendees have plenty of reasons to beam aboard this year's convention.
For longtime fans and newcomers alike, it's shaping up to be one of the biggest franchise showcases at San Diego Comic-Con 2026.
