STAR WARS #1 Darth Vader Comic Cover Art by Greg Horn
We've got another spectacular piece of comic book cover art for Star Wars #1 created by artist Greg Horn. He also created another awesome variant piece featuring Luke Skywalker that you can see here. The art was posted on his Facebook page with a description and praise of another new color that he has created, much like the Attack on Titan art that he released last year. Here's an explanation about the color.
Greg Horn has done it again. Following up on his astounding invention of a never-before-seen color early in 2014, the superstar artist one-ups himself, revealing an entirely new chromatic range of hues in his new Darth Vader #1 cover for Marvel Comics. The new tints and tones are collectively called Pewvers, reproducing what the artist says is “all the colors between pewter and silver”. Physicist Edward Reich comments, “Mr. Horn’s achievements are simply unexplainable to modern science…to invent one color, I suppose it’s possible. But, an entire spectrum of colors? It makes me want to cut open his head just to see what’s inside”. His exploits baffle scientists and non-smart people alike, leading some people to believe he is magic. Alternative medicine guru Jimmy Rohrbaugh exclaims, “Pewvers are like a wave of pure artistic energy that can trigger latent healing abilities in the human mind. Many of my clients say that just looking at the Darth Vader painting has cured them of all variety of ailments... one guy had goiters, trench foot, and the mange—next day, all gone.”
