STAR WARS Actor Warwick Davis Plays The Same Character in SOLO That He Played in THE PHANTOM MENACE
A fun little detail has been revealed regarding Solo: A Star Wars Story, and don't worry, it doesn't really spoil anything. Star Wars actor Warwick Davis, who got his start playing Wicket in Return of the Jedi has appeared in several other Star Wars movies including The Phantom Menace. And it's been revealed that he may be playing the same character from that film in the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Stitch Kingdom posted a cast list that you can check out below, and in it, you'll see that Davis is playing a character named Weazel, which is pretty much the same name of one of the characters that he plays in The Phantom Menace.

Star Wars Underworld pointed out the cool little detail and explained:
Those familiar with Episode I: The Phantom Menace may remember that Warwick Davis had two roles in that film; one as Anakin's Rodian friend Wald, and another as a Podrace patron who can be seen next to Watto in several scenes. That character's name is Weazal, which has led many to believe that Davis isn't portraying a new character, but is, in fact, reprising his character from Episode I.
Here's an image of his character from The Phantom Menace:
I should also point out that these two films are the only ones where Warwick Davis plays a character that shows his real face. Every other time he's worn a mask.
I won't get into how Davis' Weazel character fits into the Solo story because I don't want to spoil anything. But I do think it's awesome that he got to reprise a role of a character in the Star Wars universe that he previously played.
