STAR WARS: ATTACK SQUADRONS Announced - Who Doesn't Love STAR WARS Dogfights?

It looks like Disney isn’t willing to let any aspect of Star Wars lie fallow. Today, Disney/Star Wars announced the latest Star Wars video game, Star Wars: Attack Squadrons. It will be a “free-to-play online space combat game where players customize iconic Star Wars™ ships and engage in high-velocity 16 player dogfights in fabled Star Wars locations.”

It sounds like it could end up being a spiritual successor to Rogue Squadron, but with an emphasis on Player vs Player gameplay and ship customization. There will also be unlockable rewards you will be able to purchase with currency gained during gameplay. It sounds like it could end up being worth a play, especially for any die-hard Star Wars or space sim fans.
