STAR WARS Death Star Trench Run Storyboard and Final Sequence Comparison Video
Lucasfilm has released a very cool video that features the original concept art used for the Death Star trench run scene from Star Wars: A New Hope and they play the finished sequence from the film giving us a side-by-side comparison video that I think fans will appreciate.
Like all of you, I’ve seen the Death Star trench run scene a ridiculous amount of times, but here it’s presented in a way you’ve never seen before as you get to see how the sequence was originally envisioned and how it actually ended up turning out.
I freakin’ love this storyboard art and the original early designs for the film! Check this out!
