STAR WARS: EPISODE VII Star John Boyega Teases Marvel Role
Star Wars: Episode VII and Attack the Block star John Boyega took to Twitter to heavily tease a Marvel character that he might play. With Comic-Con upon us and Marvel planning to make some announcements at their panel, could this be one of them? Boyega tweeted the following recently:
"Marvel role? ....hehehe ... I'm dam right aiming for it"
He then added:
"Currently booking flight to wakanda"
For those you you not familiar with Wakanda, it is the home country of the Black Panther, a character that has been rumored to be in development at Marvel Studios for years. Will Boyega take on the role of Black Panther? Or is this just wishful thinking on the actor's part?
I could easily see him in the role, so I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with the part. I think he'd make an awesome Black Panther. There's a good chance a Black Panther movie will fill one of those release dates Marvel recently announced.
