STAR WARS Gaming Tribute Art by Rob Duenas (Sketchcraft)
I've been wanting to spotlight Rob Duenas' artwork for quite awhile actually. With Star Wars fever at an all time high, this new Star Wars gaming tribute piece was too good not to feature. Rob's line work is so clean and stylized, and here he has taken that to an extreme. There are so many little details here, but because his line work is so strong it isn't overwhelming, just begging to be analyzed for a good long while to catch everything. It took a few looks to catch them, and I'm sure I haven't caught them all. Things like the little Han Solo in Carbonite keychain hanging next to mini Lando on Leia's Boba Fett backpack, or the little Ewok poking his head out of the Star Wars arcade machine. He fit in a set of Disney Infinity figures, and even got in a little Funko Fabrikations-esque looking J.J. Abrams. Plus, it's nice to know what Leia does in her off time when she's not trying to take down the Empire. Everybody needs to let off steam.
