STAR WARS: ORIGINS Fan Film Imagines STAR WARS and INDIANA JONES Existing in The Same Universe

Not long ago we shared a trailer for a fan film called Star Wars: Origins in which Star Wars and Indiana Jones exist in the same universe! That full film has now been released online for all of you watch!

It actually turned out to be an entertaining and fun Star Wars fan flick! The movie was inspired by the Star Wars Easter eggs that were placed in Raiders of the Lost Ark featuring hieroglyphics of R2-D2, C-3PO, Princess Leia, and more. Those Easter eggs sparked the popular theory that these two franchises do exist in the same universe.

The synopsis reads:

The Saga You Know, The Origins You Don't.... STAR WARS: ORIGINS takes a unique look at where it all began. A thrilling action-adventure, this film draws inspiration from both STAR WARS and INDIANA JONES to tell an epic story based on Earth during WWII.

The film was shot in the Sahara Desert, Morocco, and it’s a project that writer and director Phil Hawkins and his team have been working on for three years. The film actually looks like it could be a lot of fun! As you’ll see, there’s some good production value in the film, and it’s impressive. This is a cool concept for something that we would never see a major studio do.

The movie stars Marie Everett (What Happened To Monday), Jamie Costa (Han Solo: A Smuggler’s Trade), Hadrian Howard (The Mummy), and Philip Walker.
