STAR WARS: OUTLAWS Behind-The-Scenes Video Offers Insight on The Character Kay Vess
Here’s a behind-the-scenes video for the highly anticipated Star Wars video game Star Wars: Outlaws. The game comes from Ubisoft and this video puts a focus on the main character in the story, Kay Vess, and the actress who plays her, Humberly Gonzalez.
Kay Vess is “an emerging scoundrel seeking freedom and the means to start a new life, along with her companion Nix. Fight, steal, and outwit your way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates as you join the galaxy’s most wanted.”
It’s explained in the video that she’s got a bounty on her back, but at the same time, she’s trying to find work. She enjoys her time working in the underworld and she thrives on it. Gonzalez says that “she has to survive because nobody else will save her, unless it’s her.” It’s explained that the closest thing she has to a friend in this world is her companion Nix, who is voiced by The Bad Batch's Dee Bradley Baker.
The story for the game is set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and it looks like it’s going to take players on a grand and thrilling adventure in the Star Wars underworld. This is a really cool and exciting setting to play in and this video offers insight on that world and teases more of what we can expect from it.
