STAR WARS Poster Artist Drew Struzan Shares Original Art For THE EWOK ADVENTURE
Legendary movie poster artist Drew Struzan, who has created art for most of the Star Wars film that has been made, recently shared the original poster art that he created for the 1984 ABC TV movie The Ewok Adventure: Caravan of Courage.
Most of us have only seen this artwork on the VHS case for the film. But these images give us a better, more detailed look at the beautiful poster. The Ewok Adventure isn’t a favorite among Star Wars fans, but at least the poster is great!
The Ewok Adventure did spawn a sequel that was released the following year titled Ewoks: The Battle For Endor, and that movie’s not remembered very fondly by Star Wars fans either. Even when Star Wars was in its prime, there were still lackluster Star Wars projects coming out of Lucasfilm.
Here’s the synopsis for the movie, and I also included a trailer:
When a family's spacecraft crashes on the forest moon of planet Endor, teenage son Mace (Eric Walker) and his little sister, Cindel (Aubree Miller), find themselves separated from their parents. Soon these lost children encounter the Ewoks, the small and furry warriors who call the moon home. With the help of these adorable yet fearless natives, brother and sister set out on a quest to rescue their parents from the grip of a vicious monster known as the Gorax.
