STAR WARS Puppetronics Line Lets Fans Create Their Own Adventures With Yoda, Chewbacca, and More
With The Mandalorian & Grogu gearing up to hit theaters, there’s already a flood of awesome new collectibles on the way for Star Wars fans. But while plenty of attention is on the upcoming movie, the original trilogy is also getting some love with a fun new toy line called Puppetronics.
These new interactive collectibles let fans step into the role of puppeteer and bring characters like Yoda, Chewbacca, and Wicket to life through movement, expressions, sounds, and dialogue.
The lineup includes one larger deluxe Puppetronic and several smaller Palm Puppetronics, all packed with personality and designed to make it feel like you’re controlling your own tiny Star Wars performance.
Star Wars Yoda Puppetronic Animatronic Puppet
Leading the line is the Star Wars Yoda Puppetronic by RealFX, a 17-inch interactive version of the legendary Jedi Master that comes loaded with more than 120 sounds and action combinations. The figure reacts directly to your movements, letting you manipulate Yoda’s brow, ears, mouth, eyes, and head to create different expressions and reactions.
The figure also syncs speech and sounds with his moving mouth, and you can even raise his arm to trigger Force abilities. Of course, Yoda wouldn’t be complete without some iconic dialogue. Fans can expect lines like, “Help you I can. Yes. Mmm”, “Do. Or do not. There is no try”, and “May the force be with you.”
The Puppetronic Yoda includes his Jedi robes and cane and will retail for $84.99. Pre-orders are live now ahead of its October 2, 2026 release.
Star Wars Chewbacca Palm Puppetronic
The Palm Puppetronics shrink things down but still keep the same mix of puppetry and interactive tech. First up is Chewbacca, who may honestly end up being the fan favorite of the group. The little Wookie lets you control his mouth, blinking eyes, and expressions while triggering over 40 different sounds and reactions that include growls, howls, and classic Chewie-style roars.
One of the coolest features in the Palm Puppetronics line is something called “Magic Moments.” Buttons located on either side of the figures unlock special interactions whenever Chewbacca is near Yoda or Wicket, allowing the toys to communicate with one another. It’s a fun little detail that makes the line feel even more alive.
The Star Wars Chewbacca Palm Puppetronic is priced at $39.99 and also arrives on October 2, 2026.
Star Wars Wicket Palm Puppetronic
Joining Chewie is everyone’s favorite Ewok, Wicket. Standing at 6.3 inches tall, Wicket includes the same style of expressive controls that let users move his head, eyes, and mouth while triggering over 40 sounds and reactions, including plenty of Ewokese chatter.
Like Chewbacca, Wicket can also interact with the other Palm Puppetronics through the Magic Moments feature, adding even more play possibilities for fans building out the whole lineup. Wicket will retail for $39.99 and launches alongside the rest of the collection on October 2, 2026.
Star Wars Yoda Palm Puppetronic
Rounding out the line is the Palm Puppetronic version of Yoda, which somehow manages to make the Jedi Master even more adorable. This smaller version still packs in over 40 sounds and dialogue clips, including “May the force be with you” and several other familiar phrases fans will instantly recognize.
Just like the other Palm Puppetronics, you can control Yoda’s eyes, head, and mouth, with sounds activating as you move him around. He skips the cane this time but still sports his classic Jedi robes and can interact with Chewbacca and Wicket through those shared Magic Moments features.
These things look like a lot of fun for kids! They tap into that old-school puppet charm while mixing in some surprisingly advanced interactive tech, and it feels like exactly the kind of collectible Star Wars fans are going to have way too much fun with.
