STAR WARS Sheds a Little More Light on Sifo-Dyas in DOOKU: JEDI LOST Audiobook

Sifo-Dyas is a bit of a mystery character in Star Wars. In Attack of the Clones, we learned that it was this Jedi who ordered the creation of an army of clones. Then, in The Clone Wars, we learned a little bit more about him in the episode, “The Lost One.” In the episode we learned that he had visions of a great conflict that led to him creating the clone army after the Jedi refused to take heed to his warnings. If you were hoping to learn a little more about Sifo-Dyas, now’s your chance.

In the audiobook Dooku: Jedi Lost by Cavan Scott, we get to learn quite a bit more. We learn that Sifo-Dyas was close friends with Dooku, the man who would eventually kill him. We also learn that he was trained by Jedi Master Lene Kostana after Sifo-Dyas and Dooku discovered the Bogan Collection (a secret trove of dark side artifacts). Kostana was a collector of these artifacts and apparently believed the Sith would return. It was also at Kostana’s request that Sifo-Dyas experiment with the Cosmic Force which is a part of the Force all about visions pertaining to the futures and not something the Jedi Council were big fans of at the time. This of course leads to the visions of the war and everything we already knew about the mysterious Jedi.

Are you excited to learn more about Sifo-Dyas? Have you listened to Dooku: Jedi Lost yet?
