STAR WARS: THE ACOYLTE Concept Art Features Our Best Look at Darth Plagueis
Darth Plagueis was teased at the end of the first season of Star Wars: The Acolyte and there were plans to explore his story in future seasons. But, those plans were killed off after Disney cancelled the show.
We only got a teasing look at Darth Plagueis in the series, but today have have some concept art to share that give us our best look at the full design of the character.
Artist Saby Menyhei took to social media to share some of the concept art that she created for Plagueis. They include a clearer look at the Muun's head along with a full body visuial where he's dressed in more luxurious Sith attire.
When talking about the design of the character, showrunner Leslye Headland said: “Obviously the species has been determined, if not by [Star Wars] canon, then by Legends and definitely by head-canon for everybody.
“So when we were designing him and talking about his appearance, it was a lot of Crimson Peak, of Guillermo del Toro."
