STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK Is Getting a 4K Theatrical Re-Release in the UK; Also Pick Up a 40the Anniversary Poster

For those of you Star Wars fans who live in the UK, you’re in luck! Disney and Lucasfilm are planning to re-release a 4k version of The Empire Strikes Back in theaters. The news came from Vue Cinemas CEO Tim Richards at some point in early July when movies theaters open back up. That seems like it would be a cool experience, especially for those that have never seen the movie on the big screen.

Also, in honor of the 40th anniversary of the film, The Empire Strikes Back poster art by Matt Ferguson that was revealed back in May is getting a limited edition prints that you can buy!

The print comes in both English and Japanese language variants, with one set noted as a timed release. Prices range from $65-$85, with the option to purchase a matching numbered set of the timed release version of the print for $125. Each poster measures 24 x 36 inches.

The sale kicked off earlier this week and you have until the end on Sunday, July 21st at 11:59 p.m. ET/8:59 p.m. PT to buy one! So pick one up now while you still have time!
