STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Concept Art Features Alternate Designs For Dark Rey

Regardless of what you thought of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, there was a lot of work that was put into developing the film, and there was a team of talented artists creating the look of the movie and the designs of the characters that filled it.

As you might imagine, there is a ton of awesome art out there that we may actually never see that was created for these films, so when some of the art does surface, I think it’s worth sharing to show you some of the alternate takes on certain aspects of the movie and what could have been. One of them show her putting on Kylo Ren’s helmet.

The art below offers us a look at some alternate designs for Dark Rey. The art was created by Adam Brockbank, who has worked on several Star Wars projects over the years.

The concept of Dark Rey was an interesting one and I kinda wish they would have played with it a bit more in the film. In the end, it made for a cool and surprising trailer moment.
