STAR WARS: UPRISING Game Trailer - See What Happens After the Death Star Blows Up
Star Wars: Uprising is a new mobile gamethat tells a story that takes place between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, and it picks up shortly after the destruction of the Death Star.
We have a trailer for the game for you to watch, and it offers us a few more pieces to the puzzle of the Star Wars saga. What’s really interesting about this is that we get to see how the galaxy reacted to the fall of Darth Vader and the Emperor. Everything you see in this trailer is canon, so it exists in the the film universe as well.
I love that they are exploring this part of the story. Watching all of the reactions of characters witnessing the Death Star's destruction is so cool and intriguing. It does’t look like people in the Empire wait that long to try and pick up the pieces again.
The game looks and sounds awesome. I’m not one for playing mobile games, but this looks like it will be worth getting hooked on. Here are some details on the game from StarWars.com:
Star Wars: Uprising will feature key events set in the Anoat Sector, inclusive of Hoth and Cloud City, and will allow players to create characters, go on missions, build their gear and skills, and organize crews and factions to participate in wide-ranging battles. Keeping up with tradition of Star Wars roleplaying games, players will learn hundreds of new abilities and collect classic gear and equipment conducive to creating their own takes on iconic roles: Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Rebel Guerilla, Diplomat, Gambler, or something new entirely.
