STAR WARS Writer Has Plans To Continue Captain Phasma's Journey

Gwendoline Christie’s Captain Phasma was a fan-favorite character in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, but like Boba Fett, she has a minimal role in the story and she seemingly fell to her death in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. But, maybe she didn’t.

Author Delilah S. Dawson, who wrote a Star Wars novel featuring Captain Phasma, is looking to continue her story and has a pitch ready to go. Her first book offered a backstory on Phasma and told the untold origins of The First Order Captain. This next one will follow the character after the events of The Last Jedi and her battle with Finn.

Dawson shared on Twitter, "Soooo if you're watching The Book of Boba Fett and wishing there was also a backstory for Captain Phasma, I have SUCH GOOD NEWS FOR YOU.” Dawson then offered some info detailing her story that will continue Captain Phasma's adventures:

"... and I have a pitch ready to go if the powers that be want the rest of Phasma's story after she fell through that fiery hole while fighting Finn. We know what her armor is made of, and we know she's ruthless. I want to write what she does next."

When asked by a fan how she would convince someone to read these new adventures, she replied, "I pitch it as Mad Max: Fury Road meets Star Wars Legends." This certainly sounds like it could be a wild Captain Phasma story that a lot of Star Wars fans might be interested in. Would you be interested in reading a new book that continues the adventures of Captain Phasma?
