STARCRAFT II: LEGACY OF THE VOID — Cinematic Trailer and 3 Videos of Multiplayer Changes
I've been a fan of Starcraft ever since I first played it back in 1998. My cousin had the game and let me check it out. In what felt like a blink, about eight hours went by. Since then I've been hooked on the series and RTS's in general. Starcraft II has its final expansion and a closing to its trilogy in Legacy of the Void. This Protoss focused story looks like it could be the last we see of Starcraft for sometime. Between Starcraft: Brood War and Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty there was about a 12 year gap.
During BlizzCon, Blizzard Entertainment released the first cinematic trailer for Starcraft: Legacy of the Void. The trailer is amazing and full of a foreboding doom.
Blizzard also released three videos that show off new unit types and changes to old ones. The videos display how these news things effect multiplayer and the increased micromanagement potentials.
You can sign-up for the multiplayer beta on Battle.net. No release date has been announced but I imagine it'll be released in the next 12 months (broad guess).
