STARDEW VALLEY Now Has a Board Game

Stardew Valley is a very popular video game and the one man team of Eric Barone (aka ConcernedApe) recently announced that the game is going analog. Stardew Valley: The Board Game is a cooperative board game for up to 4 players where you try to save the Valley from Joja Corporation. The game has a lot of ways for players to customize it and adjust the difficulty for unique experiences. One warning that Barone puts out there is that much like the video game, Stardew Valley: The Board Game is not a short game. It does require roughly 45 minutes per player.

Work together with your fellow farmers to save the Valley from the nefarious Joja Corporation! To do this, you'll need to farm, fish, friend and find all kinds of different resources to fulfill Grandpa's Goals and restore the Community Center. Collect all kinds of items, raise animals, and explore the Mine. Gain powerful upgrades and skills, and as the seasons pass, do your best to protect the magic of Stardew Valley!

To bring the game to life, Barone teamed up with designer Cole Medeiros to really hone things like incorporating animals, mining, villagers, and much more. Sadly, the game is currently sold out, but you can order it when it’s back in stock for $55 if you live in the United States. The game is currently unavailable outside of the U.S.
