Stephen Colbert Made a Trailer for EPISODE IX with the Aim of Pissing Off Trolls
I am getting really bothered by the Star Wars “fan base.” I put fan base in quotes because I don’t think any real fans should be so vehemently hateful towards anyone in their fandom. Star Wars still has a great fan base who love the franchise and aren’t total jerks to others, but it’s that small portion of jerks that a lot of other fans bothered by. It’s this same group of jerks who bullied Kelly Marie Tran who played Rose Tico in The Last Jedi to the point where she left social media. Fans should never do that. it's totally ok to disagree with each other and debate the things that we like and don't like about the franchise, but bullying isn't the way to go. Stephen Colbert, who has been a Star Wars fan since about 2 weeks before A New Hope was released decided to create a trailer for the upcoming Episode IX especially for those bullies who dare call themselves fans.
