Stephen Colbert Participating in Dungeons and Dragons Event for Charity

The Dungeons and Dragons playing web-series Critical Role has thrown around the idea in the past of bringing longtime D&D fan Stephen Colbert onto their show, and now they’re getting their wish!

Earlier this week, Critical Role announced that they’ll be teaming up with the host of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert for a one on one adventure to raise money for Red Nose Day, the annual fundraiser to end child poverty.

Those who donate to the cause will be able to vote on every aspect of Colbert’s character and gameplay. The larger the donation, the bigger the input. Critical Role DM Matthew Mercer will be Colbert’s guide, and fans are pretty excited, as Mercer is possibly the most exciting DM there is, and fans are rallying to make Colbert’s game ridiculous and hilarious. It should be really fun to watch!

The adventure will air on May 23rd. You can make a donation here to get in on the fun and help out with the cause!
