Stephen King Pitches a Slasher Movie Idea on Social Media Titled SLAYBOR DAY
Stephen King consistently delivers great entertainment in the books that he writes. The guy is a non-stop writing machine who writes one book after another. And the stories that he’s telling in these novels are so good!
The next King novel to be released in Fairy Tale, which is going to be released in a few days. He’s also been working on his follow-up book, titled Holly; and he’s writing a novella titled Rattlesnakes, which he’s described as a sequel to Cujo.
If you’ve ever wondered what King might do in the slasher film genre, he recently pitched a holiday-themed idea on social media titled Slaybor Day.
So, what would that movie be about? Well, the horror writer also offered a little log line with some story details:
As you can see, the plot would be a critique of modern capitalism. I wouldn’t be surprised if some producer has already reached out to acquire the rights to this idea to flesh it out and bring the story to life! The marketing campaign would look something like this, “Slaybor Day! A new slasher film based on a tweet by Stephen King!”
