Stephen King Wants a LAW AND ORDER Vampire Series!
Stephen King has a great idea for a new Law and Order series that would awesomely shake up the franchise. He wants a Law and Order series with vampires and I think that’s an awesome idea that he should develop! Here’s what he said on Twitter:
You're not going to think I am serious about this, but I am: I would like to see Dick Wolf add a new show to his franchise--LAW AND ORDER VAMPIRE SQUAD.

Yep! That sounds like a fine idea. The long-running Law and Order series centers on a team in different divisions of law enforcement that include drugs, homicide, and special victims. Adding a vampire hunting unit to that list would be great.
When a fan asked what that premise would be, King said, "Cops hunting vampires." Then another fan came up with the following opening for the series, which king supports:
“In the criminal justice system, vampiric-based offenses are considered especially heinous. In New York City, the undead who investigate these vicious felonies are part of an immortal squadron known as the special vampire unit. These are their stories."
Now that the concept is out there, the series just has to be put into development! King needs to lead the charge on it. Maybe he can write the pilot episode and then get the powers at be on board and push it forward. Would you want to see Law and Order Vampire Squad become a reality?
