Stephen King Wrote an Animated Horror Short Film That Will Be Released Soon

Stephen King has written a new animated horror short film, which is expected to be released online in the coming days.

The short was produced by Dark Corners Films, a series on YouTube from filmmakers Kate Siegel, Krsy Fox, and Mali Elfman.

The YouTube channel features “a series of short animated horror films for young children designed as a fun gateway into the genre.

“Each film is rated on our 5-pumpkin scale and carefully designed to scare and delight everyone in the family - from preschool to high school.”

King is one of many notable names who has participated, as there are also contributions from Nightmare On Elm Street legend Heather Langenkamp and author Paul Tremblay (A Head Full Of Ghosts, The Cabin At The End Of The World).

We don’t know what King’s story will entail, but to get a little taste of you can expect, some of the videos have already been released online.

Below you can watch Langenkamp’s story, which is rated “one pumpkin” and is called “Max And The Messy Monster.”

I also include Tremblay’s “The Notes,” with a creepy story of a game between a boy and his babysitter that goes horribly wrong.

The most recent to be released in “Dimples,” which comes from from Kate Siegel. I included that one as well.
