Steve Buscemi Is God and Daniel Radcliffe Is an Angel in First Trailer for MIRACLE WORKERS

TBS has a new comedy limited series coming out called Miracle Workers, and today we have the first trailer to share with you.

Steven Buscemi plays God in the series, and Daniel Radcliffe takes on the role of an angel. It’s such a weird combination, but it looks like it could be great! The series comes from Man Seeking Woman creator Simon Rich and is being executive produced by Lorne Michaels (SNL).

The series in based on the book that Rich wrote called What in God’s Name, and the series will consist of seven episodes. It’s said to turn the “perception of heaven on its head while also making the case that humans are worth saving.”

Radcliffe plays an angel named Craig, “a low-level angel responsible for handling all of humanity’s prayers.” Buscemi plays Craig’s boss, God, “who has pretty much checked out to focus on petty hobbies. To prevent Earth’s destruction, Craig and fellow angel Eliza (Geraldine Viswanathan) must answer a seemingly impossible prayer: help two humans, Laura and Sam (played by Sasha Compere and Jon Bass), fall in love.”

The series will also feature guest stars such as Tituss Burgess, Margaret Cho, Angela Kinsey, Tim Meadows, John Reynolds, Lolly Adefope, and Chris Parnell.

Miracle Workers debuts Tuesday, February 12th at 10:30pm.
