Steve Carell and THE OFFICE Creator Greg Daniels Have Teamed Up For a Netflix SPACE FORCE Series
Steve Carell and The Office creator Greg Daniels are teaming up again for a new series called Space Force, which is inspired by President Trump’s idea of building a space force as the sixth branch of the military. The series has been set up at Netflix and they released an announcement teaser that you can watch below.
The series was created by Carell, who will star in it, and Daniels, who will be the showrunner. The show is described as “a workplace comedy centered around the people tasked with creating a sixth branch of the armed services.”
There aren’t any other details on the series. We don’t know what the tone of the series will be or how many episodes the first season will consist of. I can’t help but think it will have the same comedy style of The Office, like Michael Scott being the guy who is leading the charge on building the Space Force, which makes so much sense in my head!
I doubt it will be that, but that’s just what I’m imagining in my head, and it’s pretty damn funny. Apparently, Carell could be pulling in $1 million per episode.
I’m excited about this show and can’t wait to see what exactly it ends up being! Enjoy the announcement teaser:
