Steven Yeun and Greg Kinnear Cast in THE TWILIGHT ZONE Series Revival

We’ve got some new casting announcements for Jordan Peele’s revival of The Twilight Zone. Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) and Greg Kinnear (As Good as it Gets) are both set to appear in an episode titled “The Traveler.”

There are no details on the plot of the episode, but with a title like “The Traveler” it could be anything. A traveler from another world, a traveler from another dimension, a traveler making his way across the country? Who knows?!

These actors join the previously cast John Cho (Star Trek), Allison Tolman (Fargo) and Jacob Tremblay (Room, Wonder), who will star in an episode called “The Wunderkind.” Sanaa Lathan, Adam Scott, and Kumail Nanjiani are all starring in other episodes of The Twilight Zone. The other episodes we know of so far that will be included in the series are “Nightmare At 30,000 Feet,” “Nick of Time,” and “Rewind.”

Peele is also hosting the show as he steps into the shoes of the imaginative visionary, Rod Serling. When previously talking about the series, Peele explained:

“Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time, but prophesied issues of ours. I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of ‘The Twilight Zone.'” 

It’s pretty cool to see the casts that they are building up for this Twilight Zone revival, and while I have my reservations about it, I hope that it turns out to be good!
