Story Trailer For The Remake of SILENT HILL 2
With the Silent Hill 2 remake only a couple of months from being released, Konami and Bloober Team have released a new trailer, and this one centers on the game's story.
While the creative team confirmed that the gameplay will be updated, they are not making any changes to the story.
Blooper Team Chief Marketing Officer Anna Jasińska previously said: "We are focusing on bringing the distinct, visceral atmosphere back in the modernized Silent Hill 2.”
Since the remake of Silent Hill 2 was first announced, there has been a lot of negativity surrounding it as the original version is considered to be one of the greatest video games ever made. But, the reception to this new trailer has been positive, so that’s good.
The remake actually does look good, and I’m looking forward to playing it. The story for the game is set in the eerie and fog-shrouded town of Silent Hill, “the game follows James Sunderland, as he receives a mysterious letter from his deceased wife, Mary, beckoning him to return to the town.
“Driven by a sense of guilt and longing, James embarks on a nightmarish journey to unravel the truth behind his wife's death, encountering grotesque monsters and enigmatic characters along the way.”
Silent Hill 2 is set to be released on October 8th on PS5 and PC.
