Netflix is bringing Stranger Things and Marvel's The Defenders to San Diego Comic-Con this year and to help get fans excited, they released two promo teasers. I'm super excited about both these shows, so I'm looking forward to attending the panels for these shows and seeing what they have to show off.
You can bet that they will be a big event featuring many of the cast members of each show and you know they're gonna show off some exclusive footage for anyone in attendance! You can find the promos and details below.
Netflix will also be bringing Adam Wingard's Death Note and David Ayer's Bright to Comic-Con as well!
The Stranger Things panel will be on Saturday, July 22nd at 3:00 pm in Hall H. They are getting the big day! You can bet it's going to be insanely difficult to get into.
A year after Will’s return, everything seems back to normal… but a darkness lurks just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins.
Stranger Things 2 is coming. Halloween 2017.
The Defenders panel is headed to Hal H on July 21 at 5:15 pm.
Marvel’s The Defenders follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.
The Netflix original series will launch globally on August 18, 2017.
The panel will take place on Thursday, July 20th at 3:15 pm in Hall H. I've heard they might be screening the whole film at the panel!
Intoxicated by the power of a supernatural notebook, a young man begins killing those he deems unworthy of life. Based on the famous Japanese manga.
Death Note streams on Netflix August 25.
The panel for Bright will also take place on Thursday, July 20th at 3:15 pm in Hall H.
Set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves, and fairies have been co-existing since the beginning of time. Bright is genre-bending action movie that follows two cops from very different backgrounds. Ward (Will Smith) and Jakoby (Joel Edgerton), embark on a routine patrol night and encounter a darkness that will ultimately alter the future and their world as they know it.
It will be released in December.
