STRANGER THINGS: SIX Will Introduce Fans to Another Child Experiment

One of the things I enjoyed about the second season of Stranger Things is that it delved a bit more into the other kids experimented on like Eleven. Thanks to a new comic book, we’re going to learn a bit more about one of those other kids, and the best part is that we haven’t met them before. Stranger Things: SIX will be released by Dark Horse and Netflix and will be written by Jody Houser. Edgar Salazar will pencil the comic, Keith Champagne will ink it, Triona Farrell will color the comic, and Nate Piekos will letter it. The covers are being provided by Aleksi Bricolt, Kyle Lambert, and David Mack. Here’s a synopsis:

Stranger Things: SIX follows Francine, a teenage girl with precognition. She’s struggled through a lifetime of exploitation: first by her parents, then by Dr. Brenner of Hawkins Laboratory. Dr. Brenner wants to harness her powers as well as those of the other gifted children that they hold captive at the lab. Wracked by increasingly disturbing visions, she sees an opportunity to change her life. But at what cost?

The first of four issues for Stranger Things: SIX will be available on May 29 and it is already available for pre-orders through your local comic store.
