STRANGER THINGS Star Millie Bobby Brown To Play Sherlock Holmes' Sister in New Film Series

Legendary Entertainment has just cast Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown in a new film series based on the Enola Holmes Mysteries novel series by Nancy Springer. She will play Enola Holmes who is the much younger 14-year-old sister of Sherlock Holmes.

The book series launched in 2006 with the "The Case of the Missing Marquess" and it was followed by five other novels, that revolved around mysteries investigated by Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes’ much younger sister, Enola. This is the story description for the first novel:

When Enola Holmes, sister to the detective Sherlock Holmes, discovers her mother has disappeared, she quickly embarks on a journey to London in search of her. But nothing can prepare her for what awaits. Because when she arrives, she finds herself involved in the kidnapping of a young marquess, fleeing murderous villains, and trying to elude her shrewd older brothers—all while attempting to piece together clues to her mother’s strange disappearance. Amid all the mayhem, will Enola be able to decode the necessary clues and find her mother?

This sounds like it could be a great film series and it's a perfect project for Millie Bobby Brown to take on. She's going to be awesome in it! It's also the kind of story that my kids would love to watch. I'll have to introduce them to the book series.
