STRANGER THINGS Star Natalia Dyer Teases That Season 3 Is "Bigger, Darker and Scarier"
All of us Stranger Things fans have been waiting for more episodes of our favorite show since the first season came out on July 15, 2016. This was the day we traveled back to November 6, 1983, and discovered that Will Byers had gone missing. That week we met Eleven and found out that the small town of Hawkins had a dubious underbelly.
We watched that season play out and got answers to questions, as well as new questions thrown our way. Then on October 27, 2017, we got to see our favorite kids and teens celebrating Halloween in the most ‘80s way possible and dig back into the craziness that is their town and life.
And now we know that season three is going to be released on July 4, 2019, and will take place in the summertime. It’s a bit of a longer stretch between seasons this time, but from the little we’ve heard, it’s going to be worth it.
Natalia Dyer, who plays Nancy Wheeler, the kickass big sister to Mike, spoke recently to MTV News, and though she couldn’t tell us much, here’s what she had to say:
So, she said it feels much “bigger, darker and scarier” in what she has filmed so far. And that makes sense considering the longer film time, and the fact that the directors, the Duffer Bros., have been pretty good at upping the ante thus far. I also think it’s hilarious that Dyer says many of her family members have yet to watch the series. What are they doing with their lives?! That’s just crazy. Although, they get to binge when they start watching, so maybe they are onto something.
