STRANGER THINGS Writers Reveal the First Batch of Films Discussed While Writing the Fourth Season of the Hit Series
The Twitter account Stranger Writers is managed by the people who are in the writer’s room for the mega-popular Netflix series Stranger Things. The main writers and creators of the series are the Duffer Brothers, Matt and Ross Duffer, as well as co-writers Jessie Nickson-Lopez, Paul Dichter, and Kate Trefry. The crew must know by now how much of a fanbase has built around the series, so they are giving us something to talk about while we await the fourth season that’s still a ways off.
In a recent tweet, the writers implemented something for fans to look forward to called Video Store Fridays! Here’s what they said about it:

While this list has less of the blockbuster-type influences that have been front and center in the previous seasons like Ghostbusters, Stand By Me, It, Goonies, The Neverending Story, and many more, it does have some great movies on the list, and it gives us fans the fuel to do what we do best, speculate!
I love Stranger Things, and I can’t wait for a fourth season. The best and worst thing about the series is that we get each season all at once, so we get to binge it, but then it’s over so soon! And we wait… But at least while we do, we have Video Store Fridays to look forward to!
