Street Artist Banksy Shares Mashup Video of Him at Work with Bob Ross Narrating
Street artist Banksy recently shared a behind-the-scenes video of him at work and it’s fantastically mashed together with narration from the late Bob Ross. It’s pretty damn amusing.
The video is of Banksy creating a piece titled “The Great Escape” on the outside wall of a decommissioned British prison in Reading, England. The art features the prison’s most famous resident Oscar Wilde, who is shown climbing down the wall on a rope made of words and anchored by a typewriter.
Painting to me represents freedom. I can create the kind of world that I want to see that I want to be part of… We just want to show you a technique and turn you loose on the world, just absolutely turn you loose on the world. That really is the fun part of this whole technique.
