STREET FIGHTER V: CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION Revealed Four New Characters and More During Summer Update
Capcom recently released the summer update for Street Fighter V: Championship Edition and there were a number of announcements to go through. One thing that competitive fans will be excited for is the third season of Street Fighter League has been opened up to the entire world with the finals happening in early 2021. The news that many fans are going to be excited about though are the new characters and stages.
Four characters are being rolled out starting this winter for the fifth and final season. Dan will kick things off with his “Taunt” that the team are excited to see players put into action in Winter 2020. Rose will follow up in Spring 2021. Third is Oro from Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike in Summer 2021 who will release close to Akira from Rival Schools: United by Fate. The fifth character is still being kept a secret, but is scheduled to release in Fall 2021.
In addition to these characters, there are 30 costumes and 4 new stages getting ready to launch. A Rose stage and an Akira stage will launch around the same time as their characters. The final two stages are Capcom Pro Tour stages that will launch in Winter 2020 and Fall 2021. Also, a Winter 2020 update will also be bringing about a new battle mechanic and balance adjustments that will be available to all players for free.
