Strong Trailer for David Fincher's GONE GIRL with Ben Affleck

A second great trailer has been released for David Fincher's Gone Girl, and knowing Fincher's work, this is going to be an incredibly well-made film that tells a very intense story. The movie stars Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike as a seemingly perfect husband and wife who find themselves on opposite ends of an intense murder mystery. Nick (Affleck) is accused of killing his wife Amy (Pike) after she goes missing. Nick swears that he didn't do it, but as the story goes on the mystery and clues start to unravel, and the truth of what happened begins to reveal itself. 

The movie also has a fantastic supporting cast that includes Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, Kim Dickens, Patrick Fugit, Emily Ratajkowski, Casey Wilson, Boyd Holbrook, and Scoot McNairy. Here's the synopsis: 

Gone Girl – directed by David Fincher and based upon the global bestseller by Gillian Flynn – unearths the secrets at the heart of a modern marriage. On the occasion of his fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) reports that his beautiful wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), has gone missing. Under pressure from the police and a growing media frenzy, Nick’s portrait of a blissful union begins to crumble. Soon his lies, deceits and strange behavior have everyone asking the same dark question: Did Nick Dunne kill his wife?

The film is set to open in theaters on October 3rd.
