Ryan Reynolds Set to Star in and Produce a Big Action Comedy That's in a Major Bidding War in Hollywood

A major bidding war is going on right now with seven big studios and streamers in the running to nab the rights to an upcoming action comedy film starring Ryan Reynolds. The film is being produced by Reynolds and Simon Kinberg, who previously produced the first two Deadpool films, as well as Logan, Star Wars: Rebels, and much more.

Dana Fox has written the script for the film, and she previously wrote Couples Retreat, Cruella, and The Lost City, so she has a solid past in action comedy and solid storytelling. All we know for now is that the pitch is described as a high-concept ensemble action comedy, with Reynolds as the lead.
