Stunning Trailer for Hideo Kojima's DEATH STRANDING 2
Kojima Productions has released the first trailer for Hideo Kojima‘s Death Stranding 2, which he’s been cryptically teasing for months. The trailer is over four minutes long and Death Stranding 2 is only the working title.
The cast announced for the sequel so far includes Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna, and Troy Baker. There’s nothing that’s been revealed in regard to the story, but the tone and visual style are in line with the first game. It looks like a stunning game that is going to raise the bar.
Kojima didn’t offer any details on the game, but he did say that there are lot of things to look for and talk about in the trailer. When asked for more information at The Game Awards, Kojima shared that he wrote the story for the sequel prior to the pandemic, but ended up rewriting it “from scratch” because of the pandemic. Kojima jokingly said that he “didn’t want to predict the future,” which is why he rewrote it.
There’s also no release date to share, but the game will be released on PS5.
