STX Films Announces a New BAD MOMS Film Called BAD MOMS' MOMS
STX Films is looking to expand the Bad Moms universe. During CinemaCon this week, they announced that they are developing a new film in the franchise called Bad Moms’ Moms.
The film will focus on the moms of the main characters of the first two films. So, Christine Baranski, Susan Sarandon, and Cheryl Hines are all set to star.
There are no details about the story the the film will tell, but STX Films chief Adam Fogelson called the movie “a whole new adventure that is attracting all sorts of great talent.”
I actually enjoyed the first two Bad Moms movies, which starred Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn. These movies initially didn’t seem like something that I would enjoy, but in the end, they made me laugh. There’s no word on if Kunis, Bell, or Hahn, will return for this new movie, but I imagine that they will in some capacity.
STX Films was looking at making a Bad Dads film at one point, but that’s not happening at the moment.
Did you like the first two films? What are your thoughts on another one being made that will focus on the main characters’ moms?
