SUICIDE SQUAD 2 Will Be Written by THE LEGEND OF TARZAN Writer Adam Cozad
The Legend of Tarzan screenwriter Adam Cozad will be taking on the challenge of writing Suicide Squad 2 for Warner Bros. Cozad hasn't really done anything that impressive; both The Legend of Tarzan and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit were mediocre films with weak scripts.
He has a relationship with Warner Bros., though, and they obviously liked whatever it is that he pitched to them. There's no director attached to the film yet, but the studio is hoping to get Mel Gibson on board. I would really like to see that work out because I think Gibson would do some great things with the movie.
David Ayer wrote and directed the first movie, which turned out to be a lot of fun, regardless of its faults. Ayer is now set to direct Gotham City Sirens with Margot Robbie reprising her role as Harley Quinn.
There are no details on what Suicide Squad 2 will entail, but I imagine Deadshot, Harley Quinn, the Joker, Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc, and the others will return for a new action-packed wild adventure.
